What were you trying to do?
Use emacs to write email & use Matlab to run .m files.
What's wrong:
There seems to be something wrong with this machine.
emacs is extremely slow, while my .m files will not run in matlab.
I just tried the .m files on the machine next to this one and they worked
fine.
