What were you trying to do?
ping the aol.com domain (no, I was not pingflooding,
sspinging, or other such activities)
What's wrong:
ping segfaults.
It would not surprise me if this was intentional on the part
of aol, but ping ought to handle it more gracefully. I looked
for the source, but did not find it, so I'm assuming that the
out-of-the-box Solaris ping is in use here. I'll look at it
myself if you know where the source is.
What should have happened:
"aol.com" is alive
(I also tried www.aol.com and members.aol.com)
