What were you trying to do?
Play with lynx with SSL support, it's neat.
What's wrong:
There's no clear on-screen indication if a page is secure or not.
Netscape has the little key icon, and dialogs that pop up.
Because of this, I find it troubling to obtain a digital
certificate, as it asks me to enter my Kerberos password into
a web form that I am not easily able to tell is secure.
This will likely encourage users to get used to the idea of
entering their Kerberos password into a web form, secure or
not.
What should have happened:
Lynx should put a character or word on a status line indicating
whether or not a page is secure.
Lynx should warn the user before submitting data insecurely,
entering secure/insecure webspace, etc, ala netscape.
