not really a bug report, more of a request to update man pages in the
mtools locker.
What were you trying to do?
look at the mtools manpage.
What's wrong:
the mtools man pages in the mtools locker are weird.
specifically, they have a big "this page generated from texinfo" header
which doesn't add much, but makes the user page down a page or two before
getting to command description and syntax. to compare:
man -M /mit/mtools/man mcopy
versus:
man -M /mit/consult/man mcopy
also, doing a 'man mtools' brings up a type 3 man page which
doesn't contain much information of use to the enduser until about ten
pages down. individual mtools commands are not listed until about fifteen
pages downq. to compare:
man -M /mit/mtools/man mtools
versus:
man -M /mit/consult/man mtools
