The next time something like this is done, could you please ensure
that /afs/athena/system/config/from/{ok,message} get updated?
While the PO servers were down hard, many users experienced a
200-second delay while logging in when /usr/athena/bin/from ran (from
the default xsession) and tried to connect().
When notice is this short, it would be apprecaited if you could make
sure various groups that deal with users are made aware, perhaps
updating resulting in an updated gmotd and updated OLC motd?
