What were you trying to do?
In previous releases, there was a link from
/afs/athena/system/sun4m_54/srvd to whatever was the current system
pack in the /afs/athena/system/sun4m_54 directory.
I use the explicit path name for certain binaries that are not resident
on the hard disk in my backup scripts, because they run from crontabs
and have no guarantee of any system packs being present.
What's wrong:
The link is not there for sun4x_55, so I need to hard code in the
system pack version into my scripts.
What should have happened:
I'd like the link put back.
