Hi.
I believe the windowmanagers locker uses the convention
/afs/athena/project/windowmanagers/arch/@sys/bin
It looks as if they have supported the older convention
/afs/athena/project/windowmanagers/@sys
but have not put sun4x_55 in at this level this time.
I recommend you change to the current convention. I.e., use
/afs/athena/project/windowmanagers/arch/@sys/bin/vtwm.gamma

I just logged onto the computer.
What's wrong:
My window manager (vtwm.gamma) did not start.
What should have happened:
It should have started...

my windowmanager is set to:
/afs/athena/project/windowmanagers/@sys/vtwm.gamma
This has worked in the past without problems. However it did not
work on this machine, which is designated as an Athena Release 8.1
"early test" machine.
I noted that @sys is set to sun4_51. However there is no such
directory in /afs/athena/project/windowmanagers/
There is however a sun4m_54 directory, which seems to work on this
machine. That is I could manually execute vtwm.gamma from that
directory.
