I would suggest using a : to delimit the fields of user and group. We
wouldn't want someone to havee 16.001.daemon which would lose. Of
course, why someone would want to do that is beyond me...
Anyway, if anyone is interested, the change is to modify the line with
the call to index (about 220 in the diff) to call index to:
if ((group = index(q, ':')) != NULL) {
