OK, perhaps the mark man page could be read as not openly stating that
mark cannot be used with cur as the sequence to set the current
message, but it certainly does not document this and seems to strongly
imply otherwise, when it is a fairly useful feature. I still think the
documentation should be changed to reflect this feature, which is
well-nigh impossible to deduce from the man page currently. (In case
you are wondering, it was shown to me by someone who tried it without
reading all of the man page first, and then upon reading it was
surprised that it worked.)
