It seems that some SGIs in the public clusters are refusing
connections on the finger port.
For example:
% f @m4-035-19
[m4-035-19.MIT.EDU]connect: Connection refused
Lou Isgur says this is happening frequently and his impression
is that it's been worse since the last release which moved
finger to the athena inetd.
I can't say either way.
