What were you trying to do?
snarf a ps file off the web:
lynx -dump http://web/6.033/handouts/postscript/h33.ps > h33.ps
What's wrong:
it launched ghostview instead of giving me the file
What should have happened:
IMHO, it should have dumped the data and not tried to
interpret it.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
man lynx says:
-dump
dumps the formatted output of the default document or
one specified on the command line to standard out.
Under UNIX this can be used in the following way: lynx
-dump http://info.cern.ch/default.html.
