I feel like Greg stole my thunder here. How disappointing :-)

The new acrobat plugin for Netscape is broken-in-our-environment
because it tries to print using "lp" (at least under IRIX, prolly
under Solaris, too).

"Obviously", the correct fix here is for Development to have included
a working "lp" on system V systems, because lots of things expect lp to
work properly and be The Interface for printing.

At least, releng points the finger at Development :-)

Anyhow, the acrobat plugin should be fixed to use lpr until lp is available.
CWIS people should remember to test essential functions (like printing!)
when installing new software (s/installing/creating dependancies on/).
