I have in my .logout "mailq". It shows the email is waiting to be sent
out. So, I wait awhile, log in as root, and check again. Still there.
Last I heard the work-around was rebooting, so I rebooted. Still there.
I wait awhile, still there. As a matter of fact, just before this email
it was:
After you reboot you have to wait up to 2 hours for the mail q to be
run, or rune it by hand. Based on the timestamps in question I
suspect you did not wait long enough.
Feb 24 was a while ago.
A patch went out Monday night that should prevent messages from being
stuck for more than a day.
