What's wrong:
If I start xterm iconified and specify geometry on the commandline or
in my .Xresources file, when I deiconify the window, it comes up one
pixel to the right of and one pixel below the position that it should
come up in. I have not investigated this thoroughly so I don't know
whether there is anything special about the number 1 (for example, it
is the border width). The behavior is not unique to my xresources;
this happens even when I do this without loading any resources. I
also haven't tested this with other windowmanagers, so I don't know
whether the problem is in the windowmanager, although common sense (or
at least the amount I have :-) ) would indicate that it must be.
What should have happened:
The geometry specified should be observed even when xterm is started
iconified.
