What's wrong:
The links ucbcc and ucblint in /usr/ccs/bin are missing
On a solaris2.5 system these are linked as follows:
ucbcc -> /opt/SUNWspro/SC4.0/bin/acc
ucblint -> /opt/SUNWspro/SC4.0/bin/lint
In our case these should be (I guess):
ucbcc -> /mit/sunsoft/SUNWspro/SC3.0.1/bin/acc
ucblint -> /mit/sunsoft/SUNWspro/SC3.0.1/bin/lint
What should have happened:
not this:
/usr/ucb/cc: language optional software package not installed
