What were you trying to do?
Get enscript to work with downloaded PS fonts
What's wrong:
enscript seems to be ignoring the PSLIBDIR environment variable
for opening afmfiles.upr and subsequently for opening afm files
(it seems to only be using it for enscript.pro)
What should have happened:
It should have opened /afs/sipb/user/yonah/tmp/afmfiles.upr
instead of /usr/athena/lib/ps/afmfiles.upr
