System name: aalto
Type and version:	SPARC/5 8.0I (1 update(s) to same version)
Display type: cgthree

What were you trying to do?
Use the machine remotely via dialup session

What's wrong:
Some programs, notably xzewd.x and xzewd-zephyr-baby, fail to die
when a console user logs out of the workstation. The xzewd.x
then spins and uses up all free CPU time on the machine. To a
lesser extent, Netscape 3.0 does the same thing. The processes
need to be killed by hand after su'ing to root. This problem
seems to have developed in Athena 8.0. Note that this machine
is shared by remote users routinely who telnet in.

What should have happened:
All the console user's programs should have been terminated.
