I have a number of postscript documents that I have generated through
word 7.0 under
windows NT 4.0. These documents print fine on a variety of printers.
Furthermore,
they appear fine in the windows and OSF1 (alpha) versions of ghostview.
However, the
ghostview on athena (in the gnu locker) stops with the error below when
I attempt to view
these files. I am not sure exactly why this is, but I was hoping that I
might be able to get
it fixed. Most of the handouts in /mit/6.170/handouts (I am a 6.170 TA)
including ps1.ps
give this behavior. I am not sure why this is? It seems that
NewCenturySchlbk-Roman
is defined as a font for ghostview. I did ask NT to imbed the fonts,
however, it
wasn't working with the fonts not imbeded. If anyone has an idea how to
get this to work
I would appreciate any suggestions.
