At the moment, logging in on SGIs doesn't work if your home directory
is not world-listable. This is a bug, and we should have a fix the
next time there's a patch release for the SGIs.
If you want to make your home directory world-listable (this is the
default for Athena home directories; people will be able to see what
files are in your home directory, but not read them), the command is:
fs sa ~ system:anyuser l
