What were you trying to do?
Typing: holding down any key and waiting for it to repeat.
What's wrong:
There is a 1 second pause between depressing the key and
the beginning of multiple character printing. The repeat
rate of multiple character printing is also slow. This
is especially inefficient when using the back space key.
What should have happened:
Key repeat rate should be faster and pause before repeat
should be shorter. Please return these conditions to the
state before the interface update the week of 8/8/96.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
There is no program available to the user for adjusting
these parameters.
