What were you trying to do?
run an xterm
What's wrong:
the colors are ugly. This is because irix's xterm
app-defaults are wrong:
!SGI customizations
*background: gray40
*foreground: white
*cursorColor: yellow
*scrollBar: true
The app-defaults should be specified in the most generic form
possible. This would mean using class names, not instance names.
What should have happened:
I should have gotten my colors.
