I'll buy that! I went to highschool in Penna, just west of Philly.
I say fuck EVERYTHING East of the Mississippi. Esp that North of about
St Louis, too too cold in winter. A friend of mine (this goes back to
late 50's) actually went from that school to MIT. (Got striaght C's in
his first semester, too) Took a photo from outside the dorm. They tied a
piece of string from the eaves top floor and dribbled water on it all night.
In the morning, they had a 20 ft long icicle, about 1 ft dia at the top.
Eastern beer tastes like shit. I've always suspected Phillies drinking
water, coming from the Schuykill (sp?) river, where Wilkes-Barre and Scranton
shit into it upstream. That water def does NOT look potable, any more than
the Hudson.
