What were you trying to do?
Make the machine accessible to ktelnet.
What's wrong:
The default /etc/athena/inetd.conf (as it appears in the
system packs) configures the athena inetd to run /usr/etc/telnetd,
which is the IRIX native telnetd (which doesn't support kerberos).
What should have happened:
The athena inetd should run /etc/athena/telnetd.
