What were you trying to do?
run matlab
What's wrong:
typing
% add matlab
% matlab
gave me a window to place, but when I clicked to place it,
it promptly disappeared. There was no message about
running out of memory or disk space (an olc person looked
at my 'df' output, and didn't find a problem), and there
was no message about licenses being used up. I'm not
running matlab already (it doesn't show up in ps -aux)
I also tried getting Matlab from the pull-down Dash menu,
with the same result (vanishing window, no message).
