What were you trying to do?
not depend on AFS very much
What went wrong?
I wasted ~3M of local disk.
What should have happened?
one of emacs-19 and emcas19.30 should be a symlink to the
other, not hard links. synctree which is what mkserv uses to
bring things local does not understand hard links.
Yo, got any documentation, or other info?
Yeah, this probably fits somewhere in the not a really big
deal category
FWIW the relevant .sync file contains the following line:
copy usr/athena/bin/emacs* -p -f
