I can easily believe that there may be a bug in the fortran compiler on
the dec, but I think we need a little more information.
Specifically, did you try working with a consultant (using olc) to check
that your program was correct and the method of compiling was complete?
It may also be useful to compile your program on another platform (e.g.
sun) and see if the fortran compiler there shows the same problem.
When you are sure that your program shows a bug in the compiler, could you
cut it down to a minimal program that shows us the problem and then send
us the program source? This would be very helpful.
