problem with netscape from dash on Rotch SGIs

Hi!
We got the following question in OLC. I had him do "add infoagents;
netscape &" and he could start it up fine that way, and I was able to
start it from the dash menu on mufasa, an SGI over here, so I'm not
quite sure what's up.

Question:
I'm working on the SGI stations at the Rotch library (1st floor) For
three days the SGI stations have refused to load and run Netscape. I
use the Dash Communications menu to start the program. As soon as you
get the outline to position the window and click - it disappears. This
appears to be true of all the workstations here as people sitting next
to me are having the same problem. Is this a glitch or a bug or are we
stupid?? :-)
