It appears the sender (bgertz) bcc'd (blind carbon copy) the mail to a large
mailing list. By spot checking it looks like it the mailing list in question
was 'save@mit.edu'

The mail was in fact sent to you, but the bcc function lets you specify
recipients without them appearing in the header.

bgertz: I suggest you recheck your configuration...it is likely you meant to
'fcc' the mail to a file called 'save' rather than get an MIT Environmental
group (Share a Vital Earth) involved in the cleaning of your fraternities
bathroom. If however your intention was to elicit the help of many
environmentally conscious people at MIT to remedy the state of your bathroom,
you should have used regular 'cc' so they understood why they were getting the
mail.

What were you trying to do?
This is interesting: Check this piece of mail I got. It is to people
other than me from somebody (and to people) I have never heard of, about a
subject with witch I have no familiarity. Yes, I inc'ed my mail today in the
normal fashion from xmh and this message was among those that graced my inbox:

   Subject: BATHROOM Cleanup Reminder

Today is Wednesday. That means that you four gentlemen have the task of
cleaning your assigned BATHROOMS by the end of the day. Please contact me
when you are done with your BATHROOM(S), either by email, in person, or
whatever. Since today is not Valentine's Day, I actually expect all of you
to actually do your jobs. Make me proud.

   What's wrong:
Got somebody else's mail. Thought this was an important thing not to
have happen if at all possible. I have established using mailmaint that I am
not a part of any mail list going by the names in the to: section.

   What should have happened:
	   Shouldn't have gotten this mail.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
None I know of. Has to do with mail system.
