On Friday, I lost the entire contents of my inbox (about 190
messages), when I tried to respond "yes" to a query about
incorporating an old raw-mail file. I called the help-line, and
was told that unless I'd specifically deleted the stuff from DOS,
it couldn't disappear. (I know I hadn't done that.) I am pretty
sure that I followed the usual prompts to incorporate the raw-mail
file; it's the first time I've lost the existing messages. Today
there was a "Bad Header" message in my box with the following text:

?? ~?? BAD HEADER.

--Is that informative? Do you have any ideas of other places I
might look for my vanished messages, or are they just plain lost?

Thanks --
