What were you trying to do?
send a bug report
What's wrong:
sendbug sets PATH to
PATH=/srvd/patch:/usr/athena/bin:/bin/athena:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/ucb:/bin:/usr/bin
and then starts up $EDITOR. Alas, I have EDITOR set to `emacs19',
which is not in that path, so it fails.:

What should have happened:
It should have found emacs19, since it was in my path when I
ran it.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
The man page agrees that sendbug should run the program
in $EDITOR, although it mistakenly believes that sendbug
does NOT actually do it this way:
| BUGS
| The default editor specified by the EDITOR or VISUAL
| environment variable should be used, instead of the default
| editor under MH, which is controlled by a separate confi-
| guration file.
