Hi!
I guess this probably really isn't a bug, but I think it's a bad
feature.
You know that whole thing with mail sent to lastname@mit.edu will go
to the person with that lastname, if it's unique, even if it's not
their username? Well, I'm not sure that's such a good idea, especially
around account deactivation time. Yesterday, mail sent to
"gilad@mit.edu" went to Gilad Zlotkin, who used to be MITS (and who
will be again, as soon as his paperwork goes through). Today, though,
mail sent to "gilad@mit.edu" goes to sgilad, who is Shalev Gilad. That
just doesn't seem right to me. I think there should at least be some
suitable waiting time before the name starts pointing to someone else.
Of course, I have no idea how you would implement something like that.
