I have used the SGI several times, but this is the first time
that this particular behavior has happened to me.
I logged in and the ANDREW console program started.
I am VERY SURE that it was not doing this because of something
I left on my screen the last time I logged in to an SGI
(or anywhere else). I _NEVER_ use andrew console any more.
I am concerned that when the SGI startups want to run the
athena console, that it is using my path, and my Andrew
directories happen to be in the path before the directory
that contains the SGI console.
Up until now we have been pretty careful about where Andrew
directories get jammed into on the path.
Up until now, the ability of a user to get a console from
their search path has not been an advertised feature.
Can we please make sure that the console program that
SGI users (and others, as we evolve our xlogin system)
REMAINS the ATHENA console, not the one that happens to
be first in their search path?
