Hello there.
You reported a problem with fvwm on the sun4/solaris platform, last
wednessday.
The version of fvwm currently installed is more or less unsupported;
it's initial installers rarely use it, and the original author has
stopped working on fvwm and gone on to other things. That said, the
volunteers who maintain the windowmanagers locker try to fix bugs as
we find them, so we'd like to try to figure out what went wrong in
your case.
The first thing that I'm going to suggest, however, is that you try to
reproduce your problem with `fvwm-new', from exactly the same place
that you found `fvwm'. It's a slightly newer version that I installed
a while back, but I haven't had time enough to test it enough to make
it the default version yet. If you can reproduce the problem with
this new version, then let us know, and we'll see what we can do about
it. Also, if the problem does reoccur, can you put a copy of your
.fvwmrc file someplace that we can read it, and let us know where that
copy is when you report the problem?
