Could you send me the output from
ls -l /usr/lpp/X11
This sounds a little bit like a problem we've seen with recent 3.2.5 installs.
The problem we've seen is that not all the packages were in place.
If it turns out to be that, there is a fairly simple workaround. I'll include
the workaround here.
If there is no Motif1.2 in /usr/lpp/X11, logout.
press [atl][ctrl/act] to get the alternate HFT. login as root and
run /os/update_os. it takes a relatively long time, so go to lunch.
