Hi,
I've been looking into your bug report about Xess limiting window and menu
events. I need more specific information to look into it- can you give me
a "cookbook", step-by-step sequence of actions that will reproduce the
problem? Which windows do you mean can't be raised? Are they Xess popups
or other Xterms that have nothing to do with Xess?
You say you are limited in choosing some menu items with the mouse- which
ones, and under what circumstance (again, a "cookbook" example would help).
This behavior may be intentional under certain circumstances, but I can't
yet be sure without more information.
