Did you say it can somehow use an environment variable to find
its libs?
It really is preferable to use athdir (as in `athdir /mit/motif lib`)
to find the appropriate libraries, as it should work no matter what
convention is being used (including future conventions) and on
whatever kind of filesystem. It sounds like you may have a way to do
this via an env variable.
Nevertheless, I will make the directories.
