Hi, this isn't a bug. There are a couple of things you should know:
* "tellme root" only tells you the password for Athena cluster
workstations, not for private workstations. Since you were
using a Vax, you were definitely using a private
workstation.
* You can only run "tellme" on a machine which has been
updated to the new Athena release. Since Athena no longer
supports Vaxes, it no longer puts out releases for them, so
Vaxes will never have "tellme".
