Hi, I went to log into this machine, which had the normal display on
the monitor, but when I hit the enter key to begin logging in, it gave
me the usual login screen, but was still running a number of things
from another guy's session, including xv, xeyes, oclock, and others.
This seemed a bit strange, but without thinking I just killed his
stuff and went to work. Then I got curious and ran 'last' to see when
this person had been logged in; the log file turned out to only have
three entries in it... Me, and two from 'hoyt' This also seems
strange. I can't imagine how this person could have left these
processes running without being killed when he logged out, so I
thought you might want to look at this machine.
