The problem with kinit promting for a password before giving the error
message that the principal is unknown is a known bug, and will be fixed.
The problem you reported with kdestroy is a problem of kdestroy being too
vague. The current relese of kinit gets the user both kerberos version 4
and kerberos version 5 tickets. If you only remove one of those ticket
files, it will report "tickets destroyed" because it sucessfully destroyed
the other ticket file. It does the correct thing if you remove both ticket
files.

Thank you for reporting these problems. We will do our best to fix them.
