This seems to only happen on suns.
xrdb will respond to two ^D in succession. This problem occurs because
xrdb uses /lib/cpp to process the information and take in the input.
On suns, cpp requires two D's in succession to get it to listen.
Mike, could you terminate this please, since there is not alot we can
do about this?
