When the function save-some-buffers (C-x s by default) asks 
"save ... (y/n)?" it does not put the cursor in the minibuffer, 
but instead in the main window (in fact, it remains on the 
current line and moves back and forth to the correct horizontal
location).  It does read the input correctly.
