What were you trying to do?
There is a Postscript file in my Public directory called output.ps. It
was generated by AmiPro 3.1 through the Windows 3.11 printer driver for HP
LaserJet 3si. I have been printing it by using lpr to send it to athena
printers.
What's wrong:
When I print from a SPARC 5 station, the footnote numbers at the
bottom of the page do not print. (They do print in the main text.) When I
print from a DEC station, they print just fine. I just tried printing from
this station, and it worked fine too.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
If OLC keeps files of resolved support cases, you might want to look
at the latest question I put to them. We talked at length about it in an
effort to find the source of the bug. I marked the question done, erroneously
blaming the problem on my printer driver. I said that printing the TrueType
fonts as bitmaps had solved the problem. This was incorrect. I have since
printed this file with TTF as bitmaps through a SPARC 5, and the footnote
numbers did not print.
