Nice job, Alexis...
I haven't been able to crash my PowerMac using the new version. I have had
the program itself fail with an Unknown Error, when I was doing a search on
a large meeting (>3000 transactions), but I haven't been able to reproduce
this reliably, so it might be swamp gas? BTW, I run MacDiscuss with 750K
if that's relevant.
Suggestions...
When using the Find... function, if you put a number at all larger than the
highest transaction number, you get an annoying number of dialog boxes, all
requiring user input. I'd suggest you report that there's a missing
transaction, but not require an OK for each one, similar to the way you
report that you're building the list of transaction when you open a meeting
itself. This same UI behavior also slows down large searches through
archival meetings, with missing trnx.
All for now,
Tim
