There are various ways this can be done, depending on what kinds of
access your friend has to the specific machines you are using, to your
account, or to the account of the person from which the zephyr claims
to be.

In general, people should have no access whatever. You might ask your
friend how it was done in this specific case. (In your case, I see
that you are logged in to a machine with many other users, which
allows various possibilities.) But...

In general, if a zephyr is faked, it should appear with the word
UNAUTHENTIC prominently displayed on the zephyrgram.
