If you save an email to a file (common if it's a 45K digest of a mailing
list you get everyday) which already exists, the file will overwrite the
old one, but only to the extent of its length.
For example, if I save a 45K digest to the file DIGEST.TXT and then save a
38K digest to the save file name the next day, the resultant file will be
the 38K new digest combined with the last 7K of the original digest.
This seems a bug....
