Select a font
What's wrong:
The subwindow of the xfontsel window where the character set is
displayed can be irreversibly corrupted.
Select encdng=5
rgstry=iso8859
The rgstry menu does not vanish! The portion of it in the character
set window remains, while the rest vanishes. Now, any menus called will
leave residue behind in that window. Move the whole xfontsel window around
the screen, and portions of the windows behind it will be carried along.
Refreshing all the windows does not help.
This does not happen for all selections of fonts, but happens
repeatedly w/o fail for me with the example I give above.
