What's wrong:
my $MANPATH is really messed up at startup. it contains this: /usr/athena/man:/usr/openwin/man:/usr/man (minus the openwin on non-suns).
i have multiple adds in my .env and i think that the add in there is putting
the man directories onto $athena_manpath and not MANPATH so i dont get the
man pages.
shouldn't add tack stuff onto $MANPATH and not $athena_manpath?
