Hi,
I've run into a problem using XFree86 3.1 (X11R6) on Linux or NetBSD that I
didn't have in XFree86 2.1, so this is a bug report/plea for help. =)
I've got an Oak Technology OTI067 SVGA card w/ 512K, and a generic SVGA
monitor.
Running zephyr, a sort of instant messaging system on MITNet which pops up
messages in windows, I have a problem receiving; just before I receive any
zwrite (a zephyr window), the whole screen sort of blinks/flickers once very
quickly. This happens with both fvwm and twm. No other program that I
know of does this, i.e., xterms, etc., appear without any problems. This
also didn't happen for a friend who has a Trident TVGA9400CL and a
multisync monitor.
I didn't have this problem with X11R5, and I'm using the same card and
config parameters (included below). Any clues or suggestions?
Thanks,
Eric
