Cato is a beta machine running 3.2.5 and at the current time
xlogin; behold!
bash$ telnet cato
Trying 18.172.0.22...
Connected to cato.mit.edu.
Escape character is '^]'.

MIT Athena (cato/AIX) (ttyp0)

Press [ALT] [CTRL/ACT] to switch to the XLOGIN screen.

Console login:

I see two problems there; first, I shouldn't be getting the
pty that is currently defined as the system console for login; this is
poor, and I suspect it would look interesting were I to use this as
someone logged on and actually got console running. Secondly, the
specialized prompt that says to hit alt-act should be the harold
string for /dev/hft/1, not /dev/console; /dev/console isn't a login
port under standard Athena.
