...the problem was on a sparc5 in 37 running 7.7patch
What were you trying to do?
browsing through pages of satan/thesis/main.dvi,
the pages contain epsf figures
What's wrong:
on the sun, the workstation crashes and logs you out, saying "broken
pipe error", if you click "next" before the the figures on the current
page finish drawing
What should have happened:
it shouldn't log me out. on a decstation I get no errors.
